Who: My name is Rachel Packer and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) located in the San Diego area. By day, I work in the mental health field within the County of San Diego. By afternoon/early evening, I run a small private practice that fulfills my passion for therapy. I largely work with children, adolescents, teens and young adults. At this time I am gladly accepting adult clients as well.

What: Telehealth is defined as “the delivery and facilitation of medical and health-related services of via telecommunication and digital communications technologies”.  It covers everything from looking at lab results on an app to speaking to your doctor via video camera.

When: Due to recent events, my typical schedule has undergone a drastic change. In general I am available Monday- Thursday from 4pm - 8pm. Message me for more information.

Where: The comfort of your own home!

How: I use a HIPPA compliant communication website (doxy.me/connectthedotscounseling.com) to engage in talk therapy with clients.

Why: Life has changed for everyone over the past few months, whether minorly or dramatically. As with any disruption, many people are experiencing any number of emotions such as: anxiety, loss, uncertainty or depression. It is essential during this time that we maintain human connection and communicate our thoughts, desires, needs and feelings. I hope to provide support for clients of any age who are struggling, want to learn more about themselves or simply need someone to listen.
